Classic & Glam I only like a limited amount of rock bands, if you don't count rockabilly and neo-rockabilly as rock.

I like Beatles, of course, and -----, but not Stones. Mostly, I prefer glam rock, as it was often closer to good old rock'n'roll sound, so my favourite bands are Slade (especially their Nobody's Fools album), Sweet, T-Rex, Wizzard and Mud.

I also like Dire Straits and other work by Mark Knopfler for their quiet, but powerful sound.
